As scheduled, Duilio was back at practice this morning, getting some running in on the side and then continuing his workout indoors. He also came back for another session this afternoon. And, while the team is off on Wednesday, Duilio won't be. He's coming back at 9:30 am.
The staff will see how he responds. He's shooting to be involved in the Thursday, Friday, and Saturday practice, with his obvious goal to be involved on Sunday. We'll keep you posted.
Duilio did spend the last two days in New York City as an invited guest of MLS, alongside KC's Jimmy Conrad, D.C.'s Ben Olsen, and New England's Taylor Twellman. From midday Sunday until Monday afternoon, Duilio did a bunch of interviews with various media outlets, such as: Univision's popular morning show Despierta America, ESPN Deportes Magazine, Sports Illustrated Latino, CNN en Espanol, Univision Sports, Futbol Mundial, and of course, MLSnet.com and FutbolMLS.com.

I would like the guy to play a match before he becomes the face of the franchise. Denilson 2.0 in the making at this point.
what! nah I think Dulio will be much better
I think and hope that he will be much better but from what I have seen there is nothing to prove that.
dulio was playing for club america...not in saudi arabia. we have seen consistent performance from him for years.
well I guess we will have to wait but he is talented and very cute!
duilio is gonna
is great at what he does
Doing interviews and promoting the team is great, but it won't win any championships. Hope he gets and stays healthy soon and can contribute consistently at a high level.
i hope his play is better than his interviews. good news that he's putting in some double time to get ready for sunday. we're definitely gonna need him w/ a lot of our guys out
im counting down the days we can get coverage on a non-spanish national news outlet
other than that, it all sounds good to me
hope he does well on the field too
Wow he sure did a lot of interviews. I'm so happy for him. He's a great player and I hope he does well in the MLS.
He looks so gorgeous.
Thanks for the info and pic.:) You guys are awesome.
He's not really putting in overtime to get ready. From reading the blog and 3rd Degree, he has missed several practices for interviews, plus an entire week for "visa" issues. The guy is already slow. The last thing FCD needs against Chivas is an out-of-shape snail at cb. He hasn't played in, what three weeks? I would like to see more rehabd and less marketing. As for him playing in Mexico, Hislop was playing in the world cup immediately before coming to MLS. He didn't have the heart or the legs to give his all here. He underestimated the league and thought it would be an easy pay day.Same with Denilson last year. And now here we go again. Hitchcock overpaid again and thinks he can hype his way out of it. Hey, it didn't work the first two times, but maybe the third time is a charm,
I think Dulio will be better but its true he has been out a lot. I hope he does work out. I agree with Jade and other ; he is gorgeous!
With everyone else out on Sunday, if Davino doesn't start I can easily see us going to 5 in the back after even one goal.
