Umm, you're link doesn't work for me (temporary glitch, I hope!). Anyway, I saw that the two games -- CAP and LAG are archived on the main site -- thanks!!
Fixed -- thanks!! :)
thanks for the highlights!! you guys are great! This really is the best blog!! Cant wait till sunday!
after looking at the tape, the wall wasnt even facing the right way..whoops no wonder they got mad but what the CAP players did was inexcusable.
Dario was great against LA and had some good saves against CAP, but the goal that he let in was ridiculous. Way to far off his line. I guess that's what preseason is for.
It pains me to say that the second goal was super cheap. CAP wasn't even paying attention. Was that even legal?
well if the ref gave the ok they should have been ready
hey so Ricky get injured but the coach doesnt take him out immediately. I dont get this at all. I remember last year when Toja got hurt, he played for another 20 minutes before finally being taken off. That is just stupid. Why does this coach keep injured players on even when they are asking to be taken off? That can just make the injury worse than it is initially or prolong it.
Dario Sala was INCREDIBLE against L.A. and helped win the first leg of the cup for us in Brazil.
Hopefully Ricky recovers quickly. The more Brazilians on the field the better.---Razzle
I know i love these Brazilian guys and I also cant wait to see Toja at 100%
and see Davino play too!
Nice editing work! The music was fine (not as great as the soundtrack - FallOut Boy feat. Timbeland - was for the Toja All-star 2007 clip - that music was perfect for that clip)
Wow - you guys had a lot of different camera angels for just a streaming webcast - good job.
Thanks for doing this!
After Ricky got hurt Dom was up and ready to be subbed in, he was even putting his jersey on. I think Ricky wanted to stay in and see if he could walk it off. He was re-diagnosed at half.
Great video. Thanks for putting this together!
I don't understand the debacle with Ricardinho either. When he initially went down, the trainer made the sub signal to the bench.. and it looked like Dom was going to sub in.. then Rico went back out, clearly limping. I saw Rico make signals to the bench at least twice - from my standpoint - it looked like he was asking to come off.. but he was kept on.
C'mon Steve, I'm no pro, but even I could see the guy was walking around like a lame horse. Why wasn't he taken out sooner??
That wasn't cheap on our part for the goal... if the brazilian player just gave the yards like he's supposed to, then they wouldn't of been embarassed.
i know sometimes players are limping around and they are kept in. I remember seeing Toja limping around in a game last year but he was never taken out; I think it was after he had gotten hurt. My sister and I couldnt believe it because he was obviously playing hurt. I think come on ; that is just going to make things work. Take care of the players.
I thought the goal was fair but they were clearly caught off guard. I think it was pretty smart of Pablo actually. But either way what the CAP players did was completely wrong. What is going on with players; what mascherano did this past weekend was wrong as well. I dont always agree with ref but they shouldnt be assaulted either.
Love the video! Good editing!
Cant believe Juan cut his hair.
Off the subject, but will there be an FC Dallas blog fantasy league this year?
It pains me to say that the second goal was super cheap. CAP wasn't even paying attention. Was that even legal?
is legal, please read the rules, is not cheap, if you dont know, get some information first
The gestures that Lil Ricky were making toward the bench were waving off the trainer and an assistant coach who were yelling at him to come off so that they could evaluate the situation. I could see getting on the staff if he were an established veteran whose role on the team were clearly established, but he is a young player who is both being evaluated and trying to impress. I don't think either side did anything wrong in this situation.
I hope that players that are hurt are taken off more quickly so that their injuries do not become worse.
Oscar-worthy!
