Following the game, the FC Dallas Reserves played the Chivas USA Reserves to a 1-1 draw. FCD’s goal was scored by Drew Moor in the 25th minute, while Chivas’ goal was scored by Jorge Flores in the 47th.
We had a scary moment only five minutes in, when FCD keeper Josh Lambo collided with Chivas USA's Anthony Hamilton. It appeared Josh took a knee to his head / face. Lambo remained on the field for a few minutes while being attended to, then was helped off the field and eventually carted up to the lockerroom. The initial diagnoses is a concussion, though he was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
FC Dallas: Josh Lambo (*Matt Wideman 9), Michael Dello-Russo, Drew Moor, Andrew Daniels, Abdus Ibrahim (*Ever Alvarado 61), Anthony Wallace, Eric Avila, Brek Shea, Chase Wileman, Arturo Alvarez, Dominic Oduro.

I was wondering who the guest player was...he didn't have a name on the back of his jersey.
so much for the Burse loan....
great ball by wileman for the moor goal. give the little guy some credit.
Wallace seemed to dominate the flow of the reserve game. I think he is ready for first team action.
welcome home ray jay!
we missed you!! ;)
Yea for Moor-Wileman!
Please keep us posted on Josh Lambo!
I sure didn't miss Rebound Ray but it sounds like the team in Portland won't miss him. I do feel sorry for Rebound though, the only way he gets to come back to town is because the 17-year old back-up is injured.
Cheap comment from a small mind.
Even cheaper welcoming home Burse after Josh Lambo was injured. Pretty disgusting. Get well soon Josh!
does anyone knows where is Mina his name does not fiture on the actual roster any update?
Mina is gone, it was mentioned in an earlier update just before the team left for Brazil
Where can I watch the reserve games, when they are at home?

Hope Josh gets better soon. He looked great in the warmups... he doesn't look 17 at all. That was a hard hit he took and he looked in pretty bad shape on the bench...
Didn't get to the see the game....live in Cali, anyone have any comments on how Eric Avila is doing?
The Good on Avila:
He was confident on the ball and displayed some good dribbling. He had some fantastic passes and some that were horrible (the inconsistency that one would expect of a young player). He had a long curving perfectly placed ball (very Beckham like) that sprung Dello on the right wing. Dello was able to send in a good cross off of the play for a scoring opportunity.
The Bad from Avila:
He looked very weak on challenges and 50/50 balls. A couple of times Drew could be heard trying to encourage him with "go hard Avi Go hard!" He also seemed to have an aversion to passing the ball to Alvarez. There were several times that Artie made great runs and Avila looked to the other side to make a safe pass to Brek.
I would say overall, he was one of the stand-outs and looks to have loads of potential.
I would say a ton of upside on Avi. He just looked young and still getting used to it all. He signed autographs for my kids after the game and was very personable. He needs time.
Thanks for your comments on Avi. We watched him at UCSB and hope he'll get the confidence there in Dallas that he showed on the field here in California. He is a really nice guy and will always meet and greet after a game. Go Avi!!
