On Tuesday, the United Soccer League announced its USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 2, which includes FCD's and Portland Timbers goalkeeper Ray Burse.
Ray tallied eight combined saves in the
two wins last week over Seattle (2-0) and Minnesota (2-1). Ray was also in goal in the Timber's season opening 1-0 win over Puero Rico a week before. He has a 0.33 goals-against average, two shutouts and 11 total saves through the first three matches of the 2008 season.

Ray will join FC Dallas in San Jose this weekend and be available for the game against the Quakes on Saturday and the Reserve game on Sunday.
