Here we are, sitting at DFW airport at 4:20 pm CT, waiting for our scheduled 4:30 pm flight to San Jose...and... the reason we can type now is because, well, we're not boarding...we haven't heard any update as to why, so we'll take this opportunity to update you.
24 of the 27 roster players are here with us - Wagenfuhr is still out; Ibee is on an extended leave of absence, and Ray will be joining us in San Jose. We've also brought Alex Fichera, David Monsalve, and Jamie Watson. Josh Lambo is on the trip, as is Adrian, who will be a gametime decision.
We incorrectly reported yesterday that Adrian has pain in his back/groin. We were corrected today - he's having problems on his left leg, which may have stemmed from his lower back. The MRI proved this not to be the case. He's day to day at the moment.
Finally, here's a little trivia: It's only been two years since San Jose had a team (they moved to Houston in 2006, but kept their name, color, and history). Of the 27 players on the FCD roster, only 8 were playing in MLS when the Quakes last suited up...can you name them...
