Lambo returns to training...

Josh Lambo was cleared to resume full contact training today, working with goalkeeper coach Drew Keeshan during the morning practice session.

As a reminder, the 17-year old sustained a couple of serious injuries in his first game back on March 30.

Josh has often asked us to pass along a big thank you from himself and his family to the fans for all the encourage words and support.

On another note, Ray Burse's Portland Timbers tied the Seattle Sounders 0-0 on Saturday. He and the Timbers defense have only given up one goal in five games this year, and his four shutouts lead the lead early on.

Well, we knew to expect this from Sala... he can be great but sometimes inconsistent...

Wow, trashing on Sala after a couple of miscues. He has easily been the FCD MVP so far this year, trashing him is stupid.

Way to go, Ray! And welcome back, Josh.

Glad to hear Lambo is back in training.

PLEASE let us keep Ray-J for the rest of the season! He's been great for us, especially these last two games when we have struggled to get anything going offensively. Easily MOTM in the last pair of 0-0 draws.

Welcome back, Josh!

I would say Davino and Cooper are right up there for team MVP also.
Personally I would give Davino the edge.

yes - good to see that josh is back and that ray is doing very well in portland . . . soon the bench options should become appealing as back-ups

I hope Sala has another game like RSL. He kept the score from being 5-1 RSL. There are too many idiots on this blog that are completely ignorant. First, you people crucify Cooper and now you're moving to Sala? These are two players that have kept us in 'many a game' this season.
