About the only ones you can vote for are Coop, Sala and Davino. No one else is really worthy of an All-star nod. And, honestly, Dario really is the only deserving.

No Toja in this year's All Star game

I'll agree with Dan on his three and throw in Dax. He and Davino are the silent warriors for FCD.
All I know is that the Toronto players will have the most internet votes. I won't be shocked if a Toronto player wins each position they are listed for. The Toronto freaks will come out in force for this show.

Cooper and Davino are the only 2 i can really vote for. Busch and Hesmer are my top 2 with Dario 3rd. Early in the season it looked like Alvarez finally arrived, but he's still inconsistent as ever! I don't see how you can even give Dax a thought as an all star. He's been hurt and been a sub all season.

is the FO going to mention something about Jorge being fired??? pretty bad when the news breaks on dallas morning paper and not the blog..

wow, voting time already? Last year at this time, TOJA simply rocked the house and now he's a quiet whimper. Other than Cooper and Dario, I don't see anyone on our team that really stands out enough to deserve votes.

link for alvial?

Firing Jorge Alvial? Great, one more reason for the latino community to keep on hating FCD. I'm beginning to believe that the FO just doesn't care and wants to keep on upsetting every latino in North Texas.

I've already started voting, so thanks for the links, but honestly? I would have preferred a little info on Dax. How did his surgery go? Is he still coming back to TX as scheduled and, therefore, is his recovery still on schedule?

Anyone? Bueller?

all-star voting continues fo another 6 weeks - plenty of time for some of the boys to step it up and demand an all-star spot!

chola - please, put the race card down! We have more latinos than anyone else in MLS! The other assistant coach is Marco Ferruzzi.

This 'situation' with Alvial has apparently been brewing since early April - read the article on the Dallas Morning News.

Personally, I do find it concerning that the situation was so dire yhat he has been let go only 3 to 4 months into his tenure. We do not have all the facts, nor the information to be making snap judgements.

I think Oduro and Abe should have been part of the choices

I do know that Alvial was a close friend of Oscar Pareja and Andy Swift, two people I personally respect very much. I was also under the impression that he had strong ties to FCD prior to him taking the assistant coaching position. This is very disturbing, quite disturbing indeed.

Of course eveyone voting for Davino is voting for the guy who's killer our attack. He's so limited that the entire midfield has to stay back and defend instead of getting forward. Sala and our 5 holding midfilders are the reason for the few goals conceeded not Davino.

Am I supposed to get upset every time someone who has the same sounding last name as I do gets fired somewhere? I guess I didn't get that memo.

I'm voting a complete FCD ballot. No dangling chads here. Let's get some of our boys into the All-Star game ya'll.
