In honor of the Decleration of Independence - please read the follwing excerpt from a letter that John Adams wrote to his wife Abigail on the eve of the signing of the Decleration - July 3, 1776:

"I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated, by succeeding Generations, as the great anniversary Festival. It ought to be commemorated, as the Day of Deliverance by solemn Acts of Devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with Pomp and Parade, with Shews, Games, Sports, Guns, Bells, Bonfires and Illuminations from one End of this Continent to the other from this Time forward forever more."

Just think of the visionary ability of J. Adams . . . I think our country (and FCD) will be rocking it like Adams intended! Pomp, Sports and Illuminations! Do not forget the Shews!!

Stick you head back up from whence you pulled it and enjoy spending your time in the US holed up in your living room. I can't wait until this league on of the tops in the world to see people like you jump on the bandwagon and realize you had nothing to do with building something special.

happy 4th!
