that is currently playing in the Milk Cup in Northern Ireland. Being the veteran of the three, we asked Wally if either he could send us a short note on how things are going, or ask one of the rookies...Anthony's note:"I have a room to myself, so it'll just be my update on the trip, if that's fine.
Hey what's goin on guys. Yep, all is good out here. And yes, I have been hearing all the buzz going on with the team right now...very interesting time at FC Dallas these days.
We followed our game against the Galaxy on matchtracker, caught it about 35 minutes in and saw we were up 3-0. I haven't talked with anyone that was at the game yet, but I'm sure we dominated play.
The trip has been going really well. It's always good to be back with old friends, teammates, coaches, and staff. For the first two days, we stayed at a university in Belfast that was nice. Rooms were extra small. I mean, they were dorms, ha. We had a match against a local professional team while we were there. It was a good test for us because at the last minute we found out we were playing against them at a totally different field than where we practiced. We got a good result there, winning 3-1.
We took about 45 min bus ride from Belfast to Ballymena the next day, had two good practice sessions before the opening game against Northern Ireland, which we lost 3-1. No need to talk about that game.
Today (Wednesday) we played Wales and won 4-0 which was a great turn-around for us. Josh and I played 90, and Brek played like 75 - and he scored the first two goals for us. Now on Friday we play for 3rd place against Belgium.
So, good trip so far. Hopefully we get another win on Friday."

Thanks Wally and thanks to FCD for a great blog.
It's great for these guys to get some experience on the big stage...they are the future of FCD after all.
