FC Dallas hit the field this morning at 9:30 a.m. for the first practice of the week in preparation for Saturday’s home game against reigning MLS Cup Champions the Columbus Crew. Dax McCarty, Drew Moor, Andre Rocha, Pablo Ricchetti, Kyle Davies, and Ray Burse, who all played 90 on Saturday night, went through a recovery session while Kenny Cooper practiced with the rest of the squad.
The majority of today's training was spent in a drill that emphasized sending passes to teammates through a series of target gates, and ending with a cross into box for a finish. Josh Lambo and league pool goalkeeper Bryant Rueckner ran through a variety of drills that tested their footwork and fitness, in addition to working on saving volley attempts. Off to the side, Bruno Guarda and George John worked on some light-ball work the training staff while Daniel Torres ran laps around the field.
Dave van den Bergh did not participate in today's practice after suffering a right ankle injury on Saturday night. David Ferreira also spent the morning inside the training room for some tightness in his right hamstring. Tuesday is officially the team's day off this week, but Schellas Hyndman will hold a voluntary session in the morning for those who want to get in some extra work. The team will regroup as a whole on Wednesday.

I have always been a Dallas fan because they were the first Texas team. I think I will take my season ticket money south to Houston next year. They actually have things in order down there.

We have a team that sux, coached by a guy that cannot win at this level, managed by a moron with no business sense, owned by a couple of brothers that only care about taking care of the loser coach and bringing concerts to the stadium.
Why would ANYONE buy a ticket to a soccer game ? Please someone that is not a season ticket holder weigh in here. STH's get a pass because they bought before they knew what was going on.

Seriously, is there any need for that? I posted three reasons as to why I am not enthralled by the current state of affairs with FCD, all of them legit reasons. I post here because I support the team, but the current way its' being operated is severely lacking. So seriously, get a life pal.
