In Wednesday morning's practice, the team first began with a 9 v 9 possession drill while the goalkeepers went through an assortment of exercises with GK coach Drew Keeshan. For the majority of the session, the team came together and participated in some small-sided scrimmages on a field that was about half the length and width of the normal field. After the conclusion of practice, assistant coach Marco Ferruzzi worked on finishing with some of the guys.
Bruno Guarda, George John, Dave van den Bergh, David Ferreira and Dario Sala were all out on the practice field to work with the training staff. Bruno, George and Dave did a lot of ball work, while Ferreira focused more on fitness. Dario worked a bit with Keeshan, combining lateral movement with some shot-stopping.

I hope all the guys get fit and healthy soon! I don't EVER remember seeing the stretcher used so much during games.
:-O
any way you could setup an RSS feed or email feed for these posts? Common feature on blogs these days yet FCD seems to be lacking it?
all blogspot blogs are set up for RSS if you use firefox, not sure about other browsers or feedburner. In firefox you can just create a live bookmark that will auto update periodically or you can refresh it yourself

Anyway we can get a new coach while we are at it ?
Can we use the 1st in allocation list to bring in a experienced coach??
If no, please, offer a contract to Ronnie O'Brien, send Rocha back to Brazil, and use the allocation on some good striker! If necessary, trade away Blake Wagner, Saragosa and Cunningham. ASAP!
We now have enough history to state with a high degree of accuracy, this coach does not have what it takes to win at this level. He has coached 30 regular season games. The biggest problem is this coach is satisfied with marginal performance. He celebrates a tie. We need a winner. He is not a winner. Never has been. I would rather have a USL team in here than the program we have.
Ronnie O'Brien, seriously?? You have to be stupid. He got cut from one of only two team WORSE than FCD.

USL sides are quite good actually. I'd say a good portion of the first division teams would either beat us or give us some serious trouble.
