FCD's final practice before departing for Denver lasted just about an hour this morning on the adidas Field. After grabbing lunch inside the players's lounge the team boarded a bus to DFW airport to catch their afternoon flight. Saturday's game (8:30 p.m. CT live on KFWD-52) is the second road match against the Colorado Rapids in just over two weeks, after the team held on for a 1-1 draw at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on June 24. FCD (4-7-5, 17 pts) is coming off a 2-1 home victory over the NY Red Bulls, while the Rapids lost by the same score at home to the Chicago Fire. I wonder who will start in goal now that super dario is healthy again
Considering he didn't play in the West Texas Sockers game and that Schellas said Dario won't be back until the friendly next Wednesday, don't think that's going to be an issue. At least one more game from Burse.
