FCD Juniors Advance to SUM U-17 Cup Final
The FCD Juniors U-16 team has advanced to the SUM U-17 Cup final after posting a 1-1 draw with Real Salt Lake in its final preliminary round game. The team would fall in penalties, but the team finished with seven points from three games, tied with DC United for tops in the tournament. FCD and DC United will face off in the SUM U-17 Cup final tomorrow at Noon CT at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce, Colorado. The winner of tomorrow's game will earn a trip to Spain to participate in the 2010 Trofeo Quixote, the world U-17 youth soccer championships. The SUM Cup runner-up will get a berth in the Super Group of next year's Dallas Cup.
